Come on. Come on, everyone of you
Let's make a garment for our beloved River Niger
For she has been stripped of her watery dress
And her shameful nakedness is on full display

I noticed that as her mammary glands jiggle
There are these political perverts who giggle
I'm not taking the lead 'cause I a seamstress
But I have seen through her opaque distress
Arising from her husband’s obvious infidelity
and his unchecked domestic brutality.

Come on. Come with me, all of you
we may not be skilled dressmakers
but we can stitch a covering
to conceal her shame
for her shame is our shame!
